URGENT: Volunteers Needed!

Jumping Beans

  • Helping hands – helping the children with work, helping to clean and tidy, help with the lunch and refreshments, help in the kitchen, supervise the children, bring your own skill and talents on board.
  • Project manager – children – responsible for the Jumping Beans team – the volunteers , planning project, funding , recruiting volunteers, attend some session – school holidays and term time, some Saturdays for cook & bake.
  • SENDCO support
  • Team leader – responsible for the young ambassadors – planning session, social media , cook and bake, arts and crafts – working with the young people to find out what we can do to help, empower and support.
  • Chefs – teaching.
  • Arts and crafts volunteers
  • Seasonal volunteers

Community Food Hub

  • Hub volunteer
  • Delivery & collection volunteers – this involves collecting food from supermarkets or delivering food hampers to our clients at home.
  • Volunteers coordinate- responsible for the 4/5 hubs, visiting the hubs, checking, collecting Petty cash & admin.
  • Input data & research
  • Project manager – to be responsible for the food hub – deliveries, food informations, sign posting, networking, manage a team, admin – flexible hours and transport helpful.

We are always looking for passionate volunteers to join our growing team.

Signing up to volunteer with Children with Voices not only demonstrates a commitment and passion in helping improve the lives of young people and families, but it also allows you to positively impact the communities we serve.

Our volunteers provide hands on help in a variety of activities. You could be volunteering in projects; you could be volunteering at the hubs or in the youth group activities, you could also be volunteering at fund raising campaigns or in the office, you could find yourself painting, reading books, organizing a game, cooking for the kids, cooking for the community, or simply leading a sing along. There are many ways in which you can volunteer with us.

Whichever way you chose, rest assured, you are making a lasting difference.

We put children, young people, and families at the heart of everything we do.

Volunteering with Children with Voices means you are helping to make a positive change in the lives of many. You will also build on skills and expertise whilst making new friends and connections, it is rewarding in many ways including your personal wellbeing too.

We are people focused and part of our strategy is built on inclusivity and a commitment to learning. Necessary training is provided to all our volunteers and the option to take on additional training is available. All volunteers are supported and guided by their team members and we always welcome fresh ideas and input for the advancement of our operations and services.

Many of our volunteering roles do not require specific skills or knowledge but a desire to make a difference. Our volunteers feel recognised, supported and proud to donate their time and experience to help vulnerable children and young people.

Who can volunteer?

We are an inclusive organisation and keep volunteering open to everyone regardless of background. You need to be at least 16 to volunteer, though some roles may require you to be older.

Whatever your life experiences, we value your contribution. If you are unsure of how to volunteer due to health or personal experiences, you could contact our admin or HR team for a chat to explore how we can help you to help us help the community.

What opportunities are there?

You can be:

  • A Community Food Hub Volunteer, either inside or as driver.
  • A volunteer within an office role, working from home or in the office.
  • A volunteer with the Youth Groups.
  • Volunteer as a Fundraiser for Fundraising activities.
