Jumping Beans

Holiday Programme

Our early years and holiday provision serves children aged 5-11, focusing on health, creativity, nutrition, and emotional well-being. More than childcare, Jumping Beans is a lifeline for working families, providing safe, nurturing environments where children can learn, play, and flourish.

Jumping Beans, run in partnership with CWV, offers safe, fun, and educational environments for children during half-term breaks. Focused on early intervention and essential life skills, this program is an accessible way to improve student well-being and engagement.

Key Features

“Inclusion is not a strategy to help people fit into the systems and structures which exist in our societies; it is about transforming those systems and structures to make it better for everyone.” — Diane Richler

Identified Need's

Despite our efforts, there remains a significant lack of affordable and accessible holiday clubs and alternative education programs for children aged 5-10 in Hackney.

This gap leads to: Educational Disparities: Without structured activities during holidays, children risk falling behind academically. Food Insecurity: Many children rely on school meals; during holidays, they face hunger. Limited Social Engagement: The absence of organised programs restricts children’s opportunities for social interaction and personal growth.

Jumping Beans Holiday Club

Children With Voices (CWV) has long been a pillar of support for children, families, and communities in Hackney. Through our initiatives, we have provided essential services such as food support, youth engagement, and educational programs.

Now, we are making a case for the necessity of a dedicated space to run the Jumping Beans Holiday Club and an Alternative Education Hub, ensuring that children aged 5-10 have access to structured, enriching, and safe programs during school holidays and beyond.

Venue Costs& Accessibility Considerations

At Children With Voices, we are a registered charity with a strong commitment to putting children and families first. Our goal is to eliminate barriers to participation, particularly for our target groups who rely on us during school holidays for enrichment, meals, and emotional support.
