Over 25 years of unrivalled childcare.
In our care, you can be certain that your child will be in an environment that is:
- A safe environment: Not only do we follow government guidelines on safeguarding and Health & Safety, but we also go the extra mile by ensuring that we divide the children who are enrolled into our childcare service into groups based on their ages as this ensures that they interact with kids at their level, in terms of their needs, sizes, and abilities. We offer a wide range of activities that are appropriate for each group’s maturity levels and physical abilities, also considering their cognitive abilities when choosing activities.
- A nurturing environment: We provide an environment where children feel ‘heard,’ they feel protected, they feel loved and valued by the adults who care for them at our centre.
- A learning environment: Learning is not necessarily the ABC’s and 123’s but is also the learning of values. The learning of honesty, respect, self–reliance, and potential, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being dependable, love, sensitivity to others, kindness, friendliness, and fairness are the values of giving.
- A great approach to discipline: The child is taught which behaviours are inappropriate, and why, and given alternatives that are acceptable. In this way, the behaviour is being managed, without making the child feel “bad” or unloved. This helps develop their self-esteem and teaches them how to handle difficult situations themselves in the future. We work with the parent to provide a person-centred approach.
The children are taught a multitude of important life skills like, healthy living, exercise, writing, cookery, and they benefit from a great amount of mentorship. Activities provided at the centre extend to; cooking, baking, arts & crafts, trips, boot camps, effective communication through discussions, volunteering(helpfulness), building meaningful friendships. All of this through a family centred, safe environment providing them with the ability to express themselves freely but with guidance.
