The Programme

What Young Ambassadors Do

The Young Ambassadors Programme is dedicated to empowering children by providing them with the tools and opportunities to shape their communities and influence meaningful change.

Through youth-led leadership initiatives, participants lead community campaigns, mentor younger peers, advocate for change and develop essential leadership skills.

These experiences support personal growth while enabling young people to create a lasting positive impact within their communities.

Lead Community Campaigns

Young people help identify issues that matter to them and take action to raise awareness, inspire others and support their local area.

Mentor Younger Children

Ambassadors act as positive role models, helping younger children build confidence, feel supported and see what leadership can look like.

Advocate for Policy Change

Participants learn how to use their voice to speak about issues affecting children, families and communities — and be heard.

Develop Leadership Skills

Young people build confidence, communication, teamwork, public speaking, empathy and decision-making skills they carry for life.

Create Positive Change

Ambassadors take part in meaningful projects that improve their communities and leave a lasting impact in their neighbourhoods.

“Today’s children, tomorrow’s future. Our children for today are leaders for tomorrow. No matter how we word it, let’s talk to them, not at them.”

The Journey

How the Programme Builds Confidence

Young people move from being heard to developing the confidence, skills and experience needed to lead positive change.

01

Listen

Children are encouraged to share their experiences, ideas and concerns — and know that what they say matters.

02

Learn

They develop practical leadership, communication and advocacy skills through workshops, mentoring and real-world projects.

03

Lead

They take part in campaigns, mentoring and community projects — with real responsibility and real impact.

04

Create Change

They use their voice to make a positive difference and carry that confidence with them into the future.
