Helping Community Events Feel Welcoming and Well Run
Events volunteers help Children With Voices plan, prepare and deliver community activities, celebrations, fundraisers, workshops and local events.
This role supports the practical details that help events feel organised, friendly and accessible, so families and community members can take part with confidence.
What You’ll Help With
Practical Support Before, During and After Events

Helping with event setup, welcome areas, materials, signage or refreshments. -
Welcoming families, guests, partners and community members on arrival. -
Supporting registration, wayfinding, activity stations or information tables. -
Helping staff keep the event organised, safe and welcoming throughout the day. -
Supporting pack-down, tidying and follow-up tasks after the event.

Events volunteers may be asked to complete an induction and follow Children With Voices’ safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and event guidance.
