What This Role Supports
Food Hub volunteers help Children With Voices support families who may be experiencing food insecurity, financial pressure, or limited access to fresh and nourishing food.
This role is about more than distributing food. It helps create a welcoming, respectful and community-led environment where families feel seen, supported and treated with dignity.

You are comfortable helping with sorting, lifting light items, organising and setting up.
You understand that families may be facing sensitive circumstances and deserve dignity.
You are happy working alongside staff, volunteers and community members.
Time Commitment
Food Hub volunteering can usually be arranged around scheduled community sessions. Availability may vary depending on current programme delivery, donations, and local need.
Volunteers may be asked to complete an induction and follow Children With Voices’ safeguarding, confidentiality and food-handling guidance where relevant.
