Helping Young People Build Confidence and Direction
Mentoring volunteers help Children With Voices provide positive support for children and young people who may benefit from encouragement, guidance and a trusted person to speak with.
This role is about listening, supporting confidence and helping young people feel seen, valued and capable of taking positive steps in their personal, educational or community journey.

Mentoring support can usually be arranged around programme needs, volunteer availability and agreed session structures. The format may vary depending on the young person, activity and safeguarding requirements.
Mentoring volunteers may be asked to complete an induction and follow Children With Voices’ safeguarding, confidentiality and mentoring guidance.
